Our waiting list is currently closed. * Mind in Bradford is one of the few centres to offer The Maastricht Interview - an innovative way of helping people who experience hearing voices. This semi-structured questionnaire has been designed by people who hear voices and mental health professionals and looks back at past experiences to help you come up with personal coping strategies. No diagnosis or referral is needed. Just contact our friendly team for an informal chat on 01274 730815, Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm or e-mail admin@mindinbradford.org.uk. This can be delivered during a home visit at the clients home address or in Sharing Voices offices, or even another location that supports your needs. This is confidential service and we support a range of issues including Depresssion, Anxiety, Panic, Psychosis and range of other diagnosis.

All staff are currently offering telephone support and details can be found via our usual telephone number. The Community Support Agency (CSA) aims to improve or maintain good mental health and wellbeing by offering support in your own home. We provide support to people aged 16 or over, whether single, a couple or a family, who have severe and enduring mental health problems and are supported via a Community Mental Health team. The service takes a recovery-based approach, working to equipping you with skills and build resilience to live a fulfilled and independent life. We aim to help you address your needs within six months. ### At the CSA we can offer a wide range of support. These can include the following: - Assistance with identifying support needs - Assistance with finding, setting up and maintaining a home or tenancy - Assistance with maximising welfare benefits income, dealing with debt and financial issues - Advocacy and liaison with other relevant services - Support in accessing physical and mental health services - Support in accessing training, education, employment or volunteering opportunities - Emotional support during stressful times/times of crisis to try and prevent loss of accommodation through inability to cope - Encouragement and assistance to re-establish and maintain support networks - Ensuring contact is made with utility services and seeing that bills are dealt with effectively - Assistance with establishing personal safety and security and advice on home maintenance and self-care - Encouragement to develop skills and confidence around budgeting, cooking, shopping etc. independently - Encouragement to become more widely involved in community activities and to establish and maintain support networks where appropriate - Providing timely support designed to reduce stress at times of crisis and prevent homelessness and institutionalisation

Guide-Line is a confidential telephone support service which offers mental health advice and information between 12pm and 9pm every day. Lines are open to anyone aged 18+ who feels in need of help or who is worried about a loved one. It is not a counselling or therapy service but speaking to one of our workers could help you stay well, build resilience and find out what support is available locally. All calls are confidential unless we feel there is an immediate risk to you or someone else. Urdu and Punjabi speakers can be requested.
